The Beginning...


The start of a new academic session in Mar Theophilus Training College was so exciting... As it was the first working day after the summer breaks the college arranged fruitful orientation sessions by scholarly resource persons. The day started with the formal Morning Prayer & the students gathered in the General Auditorium for a Felicitation function for our Physical education Sir Dr. George Thomas who got transferred to St. Johns College, the teachers and students wished him success … then the orientation sessions began which started off with a motivational session by Dr.Asha Ma’am, she highlighted the importance of effective communication and the key factors which aids us in effective communication. The session was entertaining and received positive feedbacks from the students.

In the afternoon session Dr. Reghu sir conducted a valuable class on time management which provided students with a concrete framework on how to productively use their time in attaining an efficient balance in their life. The concluding sessions were followed by a message from our principal Dr. Joju john sir and Dr. Bindu Ma’am provided the students with a detailed description of academic events to be followed. Overall it was an eventful day at the college.

Day-04

 6-06-2023 (Tuesday)  I think the actual Classes and serious discussions of this academic year were started today. The general and optional subjects were handled by our dear teachers after the vacation of 2 months.Today's activities were conducted according to the timetable published. And at 3.20 pm - there is an exhibition conducted by Semester 4 students about their models.. demonstrations... Etc. Which are going to use for their teaching practice.

Day-03

 5-06-2023 (Monday) Today, the Environmental day celebrations of Mar Theophilus Training College were started with the morning message of our principal, Dr. Joju john sir through the morning radio session.And along with the particular theme of the day, the Department of Natural Science conducted a Blood Donation Campaign in association with NSS unit of the college and Unions.The Campaign was inaugurated by our College Bursar, Very. Rev. Fr. Thomas kayyalayckal and followed by him Dr. Sariga, chief from KIMS hospital delivered the keynote message. The blood bank team from the hospital provides care and awarness to us by giving a good session for 30-40 minutes about the importance of Blood Donation in this period.
